The story begins with Reiji Arisu and Xiaomu traveling to Shibuya to investigate a set of mysterious "Golden Chains" that have suddenly appeared, and it soon becomes apparent that Ouma is involved when Saya and Sheath (from Ouma's American branch) make their appearance. The story is a continuation of Namco × Capcom and focuses on the conflict between the secret agency Shinra and the chaos-spreading Ouma organization. In battle, players use well-timed attacks and combos to do as much damage to the opponent as possible before their turn ends. Characters are paired up into Pair Units, with Solo Units consisting of a single character able to assist them when linked together. The past, future, and distant galaxies have been intertwined into a storyline that will keep you interested for quite a while. The storyline is that an ancient treasure has been stolen which caused a rift in time and space which allows crossovers between galaxies. The more than 50 characters included come from the three publishers galaxy of players. Project X Zone (pronounced “Cross Zone”) came out on June 25, 2013, and is a strategy/tactical RPG for the Nintendo 3DS co-developed by Benpresto and Monolith Software and published by Namco Bandai Games. Ten Project X Zone digital download game codes are being given away July 11 by Unity UK.
